Moose River Land Company is located in Boonville, New York. We are located in northern Oneida County, between the Tug Hill Plateau and the Adirondack Park. There are countless outdoor activities to enjoy in our beautiful region. If you enjoy quiet summer nights camping and spending time with your family around the campfire, or hunting and fishing with your friends, our area is the perfect place for it.

We have numerous lakes, rivers and streams for your enjoyment, including Black River, Moose River, Kayuta Lake, Delta Lake, Oneida Lake and Lake Ontario. We are also near the famous Salmon River for record breaking salmon and steelhead fishing. Our region is also known for our numerous fly fishing areas which are secluded and perfect for that solitude that fly fishermen strive for.

If motor sports are of interest to you, we have hundreds of miles of ATV trails in Lewis County, Jefferson County and St. Lawrence County. Adirondack International Speedway is just 25 miles north for asphalt racing at its best in the summertime.

In the winter months, we enjoy over 200 inches of snow on average and hundreds of miles of groomed snowmobile trails. There are also beautiful cross country skiing trails in Boonville and several downhill ski areas nearby, including Woods Valley and Snow Ridge Ski area. There are also thousands of acres of New York State Land to enjoy snow shoeing, hiking and mountain climbing. Nearby Whetstone Gulf State Park has excellent hiking trails. Your family can share lasting memories of ice fishing on local lakes, or going to your first dog sled race.

If you're a golfer, you can enjoy several courses in our area including Woodgate Pines in Boonville, Brantingham Golf Course, Turin Highlands, Alder Creek, and Inlet all nearby. You will find our courses challenging as well as affordable. If you enjoy watching the pros, Turning Stone Casino and Resort is a short 35 minute ride. They host a PGA Tour Event every September.

Our historic area also boasts such attractions as the Hulbert House Restaurant which was build in 1812, the Erwin Library, the Oneida County Fair and the Woodsmans Field Days.
